Ed, who did not become a big-leaguer until he was 31 years old, joined
the Metropolitans pitching staff midway through 1885's descent into mediocrity
and worse. Ed actually pitched rather well for the Mets, and was named Pitcher
of the Year for both 1885 and 1886. If you want to see a pitching line
