Scott was not particularly effective in his Cubs tenure, batting only .172
and getting traded to the Washington Nationals later in the season.

The year before that, however, Scott played for the Mets,
and had an outstanding season, smacking 20 home runs in only 377 at-bats.
He left via free agency to sign with the Cubs.
