Pat shares his rookie card with another pretty good New York pitcher, Ron Guidry, but Zachry was just as heralded at first, winning the Rookie of the Year award in the National League for 1976. The next season, however, he was traded to the Mets as part of the infamous Tom Seaver deal, and he never had any huge amount of success in the big leagues again. Ah, well.
